Kyiv International School invites applications for a passionate and experienced Science Teacher to join our Middle School and Secondary School faculty. We are looking for a dedicated educator who can inspire curiosity, foster critical thinking, and engage students in meaningful scientific learning in a dynamic international environment.
Start Period: August 2026
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or a closely related field
- Valid teaching certification in your subject area
- Native-level proficiency in English
- Proven experience teaching Science at the Middle School or Secondary level, preferably in an international school
- Strong knowledge of scientific concepts, laboratory techniques, and curriculum standards
- Familiarity with inquiry-based and student-centered teaching approaches
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons for Middle School and Secondary students in line with international curricula
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons that promote mastery-based learning, critical thinking, and practical application
- Integrate technology, lab experiments, and hands-on activities into instruction
- Assess student learning and provide timely feedback to support academic growth
- Develop and manage classroom resources, labs, and equipment
- Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-curricular projects and participate in school-wide initiatives
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, fostering curiosity and a love of science
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and achievements
