Kyiv International School is seeking a passionate and experienced Upper-Elementary Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for a dynamic, student-focused educator who inspires curiosity, fosters critical thinking, and supports the social and academic growth of students in Grades 4−6.

Starting Period: August 2026

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification/license
• Native English speaker
• Proven teaching experience in elementary or upper-elementary education
• Strong knowledge of subject-specific pedagogy and curriculum development
• Experience with international curricula
• Ability to create engaging, inquiry-based lessons that meet diverse learning needs
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver lessons across core subjects for upper-elementary grades
• Foster a student-centered, inquiry-based learning environment
• Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Integrate cross-curricular connections and real-world applications
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and share best practices
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and school events
• Participate in school-wide activities, committees, and professional development
